Summer Camps at PPAS are a great opportunity for kids of all experience levels to jump into theatre fun! Through a mixture of games, work with scripted material, and critical thinking, campers will have the opportunity to learn more about the world of theatre and dive in! Whether you’re just getting your feet wet or you’ve performed all over, our instructors will help you find your way!
All two-week camps will end in a performance!
Camp Pricing
Two Week Production Camps – [$375] Weekdays from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
One Week Camps/Intensives – [$150] 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (15-minute break)
What To Expect
Most camps at PPAS are focused on teaching the three main elements of stage performing: Singing, Acting, and Dancing. We believe that the best way to help performers grow is to give them opportunities to PERFORM! Throughout the duration of camp, campers will work with professional performers who will give them all the tools they need for a successful performance. Through theatre games, scripted work, directed activities, practice, and repetition, campers will learn more about their bodies, their minds, and the stories that they can tell!
What Should I Bring?
A lot of that depends on the camp in which you’re enrolled! Most camps will require comfortable clothing and not much else. Details will be sent via email one week before the camp begins with all the information you’ll need!
For intensives, you should bring a snack and a water bottle.
For full-day camps, you should bring a snack, a water bottle, and lunch.

About this Camp
Banished by the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan, a human boy named Mowgli and his panther friend, Bagheera, are on the run in the deepest parts of the jungle. On their journey, the two meet a sinister snake named Kaa, a herd of elephants, a giant bear named Baloo, and a band of monkeys led by King Louie! All the jungle friends like to groove to jazzy beats and tunes!

About this Camp
Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphantly!

About this Camp
A "Triple Threat" performer is one who can Act, Sing, and Dance. In this 2 week camp students will explore what it takes to act, sing, and dance through training from camp directors, studio staff, and special guests. Each day students will further develop their performance skills by strengthening each discipline, creating their own work, and growing their knowledge of performing arts terminology. Students will learn musical theatre numbers and scenes as soloists as well as in large groups.

About this Camp
In a faraway kingdom, the green ogre Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits, runaways who've been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wise-cracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task - if he rescues feisty Princess Fiona from the Dragon-guarded tower, his swamp will be returned to him.
