Come to your audition prepared to provide conflicts for the rehearsal period!
Video audition submissions must be received by 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 14.
In Person auditions will take place on Friday, December 12 from 6:00-8:00pm, and on Saturday, December 13 from 10:00am-12:00pm.

Mixed Up Cabaret
Rehearsals will be scheduled primarily on Saturdays. Rehearsals will begin in late January or early February. Limited Saturday availability may disqualify you from being considered for this production. Additional rehearsal at other times may be scheduled based on availability and need. Until tech week, rehearsals will take place at Popovsky Performing Arts Studio.

WHAT PERFORMERS SHOULD PREPARE
• Prepare TWO contrasting 16-32 bar cuts (30-60 seconds) from musical theatre, and bring well-marked sheet music OR an accompaniment track.
• Please memorize your cuts, and be prepared to share one or both.
• Video submissions should follow the same guidelines and be submitted by 5:00pm on Sunday, December 14.
Performers should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled audition time to complete an audition form. Actors will be seen in the order in which they arrive/complete their form. All performers should be prepared to provide conflicts for the entire rehearsal period at the time of their in-person audition or video submission.
In addition to our classes, lessons, summer camps, and other community events, Popovsky Performing Arts presents several cabarets and a main stage musical theatre show each year. We offer class sessions throughout the year in Acting, Dance, Musical Theatre, and Music Together®, our early childhood music program.
Fall Session – 9-10 weeks of classes, many end in a performance opportunity.
Late Fall Mini Session- 3 weeks of class between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We often offer specialty classes during this session!
Winter Session – 9-10 weeks of classes with a skill-building focus.
Spring Session – 9-10 weeks of classes, many end in a performance opportunity.
Summer Session – 6 weeks of classes, typically featuring our adult classes and our early childhood classes.
