Mixed Up Cabaret performances are scheduled for April 25 & 26 at 7:30 PM at West Art.
• Rehearsals will begin Saturday, March 8th!
• Most rehearsals (99%) will be on Saturdays. Limited Saturday availability may disqualify you from being considered for this production.
• Additional rehearsals at other times may be scheduled based on availability and need.
• Until tech week, rehearsals will take place at Popovsky Performing Arts, 245 Butler Ave, Lancaster.

Performances for our 2025 Summer Show, ANASTASIA The Musical, are scheduled for August 1 & 2 at 7:30 PM and August 3 at 2:00 PM.
• Most weeks, rehearsals will occur on 4 weeknights after 5PM and 1 weekend day
• Not all performers will be called to every rehearsal.
• More information about the schedule, rehearsal commitment and call times will be released along with offers.

Due to the snow on February 15, we’ve extended our casting process for Mixed Up Cabaret.
Auditions for our Annual Mixed Up Cabaret and Anastasia the Musical will take place on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 12:00-4:30pm. Click below to register for a time slot!
Video submissions are also being accepted and are due on Sunday, March 2, by 6:00 PM.
WHAT THE ACTOR SHOULD PREPARE:
Prepare TWO contrasting 16-32 bar cuts (30-60 seconds)
Please memorize your cuts and be prepared to share one or both.
Video submissions should follow the same guidelines and be submitted by 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 15.
GUIDELINES FOR IN PERSON AUDITIONERS
Actors should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled audition time to fill out an audition form.
Bring well-marked sheet music OR an accompaniment track.
If you need guidance or feedback on your materials in advance of auditions, please connect with us via phone or email.
Actors will be seen in the order of arrival/form completion.
Please Note: All performers should be prepared to provide conflicts for the entire rehearsal period, from March 8-April 26 (MUC) or late May – August 1-3 (Anastasia), at the time of their in-person audition or video submission.
Introducing Our Summer Director, Jonathan Walker-VanKuren!
Jonathan Walker-VanKuren is a stage director, opera singer, and educator, serving as the Director of the Music Theatre and Opera Program at Lebanon Valley College. With a career spanning opera, musical theatre, and education, he has performed across the world and directed productions such as Tuck Everlasting and School of Rock. He is an advocate for inclusive theatre practices, most recently having presented on sensory-friendly performances at the Musical Theatre Educators Alliance Conference in NYC. Jonathan’s teaching emphasizes storytelling, vocal artistry, and performance technique, blending his professional experience with a passion for nurturing young talent. Beyond academia, he has directed, produced, and music directed for community theatres within Central Pennsylvania. He has mentored students who have achieved success across various facets of the performing arts. His students have pursued graduate programs in vocal performance and opera, excelled as educators, and built careers in the recording industry, contemporary commercial music (CCM) singing, and regional theatre. Many have also performed in professional national musical theatre tours, showcasing the breadth of opportunities his training supports.
