Interviews

Henry Greiner – Age 12

  1. How long have you been at PPAS?

Time at PPAS – 1 year
  2. What programs have you been involved in at PPAS?

Voice lessons with Michael, Acting clinic with Deb, recently tried out for the Mixed Up Cabaret
  3. What is your favorite memory of PPAS? Why?

In acting class, we play some really fun games. One of my favorites is called Wax Museum where everyone pretends to be a statue except for one person who is the security guard. Every time the security guard is not looking, the statues try to change positions, very dramatically. The goal is to not let the security guard catch you moving. It’s really fun!
  4. What is your favorite show that you have performed in? Why?

My favorite show I have performed in is A Christmas Story at the Dutch Apple. It’s my favorite because I had a main role (Ralphie) and I got to work with lots of other kids my age. We all got to know each other really well and had a lot of fun performing together. I learned so much from the whole cast.
  5. Are you rehearsing for or in any shows currently?

I am not rehearsing for anything right now but have two upcoming auditions.
  6. What do you love most about performing?

The best part of performing is watching the reactions of the audience. I love all of the laughing and clapping. Every crowd is different.
  7. What do you love most about PPAS?

The teachers at PPAS are great! They are really enthusiastic about singing and theater and push me to do my best.
  8. Anything else you would like to add?

I’m glad my mom found PPAS! There are so many different options for classes, all in one spot. I hope to try the choir and one of PPAS’s musical productions in the future!
