Making the Most of Music Theory for 10th grade through Adult
Tuesdays 8:00-9:00 PM beginning January 11th
Teacher: Steffan Bomberger
Many singers spend years learning to sing by ear and are never given the opportunity to develop their music-reading and theory skills! Join us in this class designed to bring you up to speed! Learn to read rhythms and notes on the staff, where notes are located on a piano keyboard, and how to read your parts in sheet music. We’ll also explore the basics of scales, tonalities, modes, chord progressions, and the WHYs behind the ways music sounds!
This course is a great start for students interested in majoring in music in college, or who are just ready to bring their musicianship to the next level!
