“Let us go singing as far as we go; the road will be less tedious.” is an ancient Roman principle that has inspired humanity for millenniums, especially Alejandro L. Ramos. Mr. Ramos is the Director of Choral Activities, Spring Musical director, and music teacher at Hempfield High School in Landisville, PA. Graduating in 2019 from Temple University, Mr. Ramos has been blessed to study under Paul Rardin, Rollo Dilworth, Bill Mayo, Mitos Andaya Hart, and Maestro Andreas Delfs. Finding a love for choral directing, solo singing, and teaching all over the world, Alejandro has performed in Harrisburg, Camp Hill, Philadelphia, Lancaster, Italy, Croatia, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. In the summer season, Alejandro is the Choir Director for American Music Abroad (AMA), an opportunity for advanced high school level musicians to perform throughout Europe and beyond through American Music. Native to Harrisburg, PA, Alejandro was an active member of the congregation at Tree of Life Lutheran Church as both a cantor and director of the Linglestown Community Choir. While busy, Alejandro believes in continuing education through the fantastic organizations of National Assoc. for Music Education (NAfME), American Choral Directors Assoc. (ACDA), Technology in Music Education (TI:ME), and the National Assoc. of Teachers of Singing (NATS). The art of music has been used for medicinal, recreational, and spiritual outlets since the dawn of time, and Alejandro thanks you for continuing the passion of the arts.
