Josey Terry

Josey has been a regular on the PPAS since her first Mixed Up Cabaret in 2017. She has been seen on the PPAS stage as Patrice in 13, Enid I’m Legally Blonde the Musical, our swing in Social Studies, and Carrie in Carrie the Musical. She has also been working as a camp counselor for our summer camps, a creator and associate of our social media content, and other various tasks around the studio, for the last year. In addition to PPAS, she has performed around the area at the Ephrata Performing Arts Center, Lebanon Community Theatre, Susquehanna Stage Company, and Gretna Theatre, among others. Favorite roles of hers include Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, Penny in Hairspray, and Sally Brown in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. She is a 2016 Hershey Theatre Apollo Award nominee for her role as Elaine in Arsenic and Old Lace. She has won 2 superior ratings in piano performance at the Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association adjudications. She is also a winner of the NATS vocal competition in the Musical Theatre category at both local and regional levels. She has been studying piano and voice formally for 13 years, in addition to her 8 years of formal training in acting. She is currently in La Crosse, Wisconsin at Viterbo University studying a BFA in theatre with an emphasis in acting, and a dance minor. Josey is loving working for PPAS from halfway across the country, but she is missing all her friends and family back in Lancaster!
