Megan Charlesworth is a music teacher at the Lancaster Country Day School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she works with students in grades 3-8 in general music, band, and choral settings. Megan also holds the position of Director of Music at Calvary United Church of Christ in Reading, PA, where she plays piano and organ for Sunday services, and directs the Calvary Singers and Jubilee Ringers.
Outside of her school teaching job and church position, Megan loves sharing her passion for music with the community by teaching Music Together classes and piano lessons. Megan has a particular interest in choirs and facilitating the life-long love of singing and music making, and has a life mission of encouraging young people to nurture their own deep, meaningful connection to music.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Music Education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Megan lives in the Reading area with her husband, Preston, and their three cats, Hugo, Chessa, and Barney.
