Discover the magic of theatre at Summer Camps with Popovsky Performing Arts Studio!

Perfect for kids and teens of all experience levels, our camps blend fun, creativity, learning, and skill-building. Through engaging games, scripted scenes, character exploration, and hands-on learning, campers will deepen their understanding of musical theatre while having a blast. Whether you’re stepping onto the stage for the first time or you’re already a seasoned performer, our teaching artists, music directors, and choreographer will help you shine!

PPAS offers three 2-week production camps, where 1st–5th graders perform in Kids Musical Theatre Shows and 6th–12th graders take the stage in Junior Musical Theatre Shows. Each session concludes with a full-scale production, giving campers the thrill of performing for a live audience.

For those looking to sharpen their skills, we also offer three 1-week workshop camps, focused on building confidence, strengthening acting, singing, and dance skills. The 2025 one-week camp lineup has a few special surprises in store!

Every summer, over 200 children and teens join us for unforgettable experiences. The 2025 Summer Camps will run from June 9 to August 8 in one- and two-week sessions. All 2025 Summer Camps will take place at Lancaster Country Day School.

Come join the fun and let your star shine at PPAS!

We’ve been offering summer camps at PPAS since 2011, and over the years we’ve grown from just one 1-week camp to offering 9 weeks of performing arts camps to the Lancaster community.

Whether a 1-week or 2-week camp, each camp day runs from 9:00am-4:30pm. Campers get a morning and afternoon snack break, as well as a lunch break at 12:00. The time surrounding these break periods is used for learning material, playing games, building community, and having fun with musical theatre!

Camps for a younger age group (1st-5th grade) and an older age group (6th-12th grade) are held simultaneously, and campers split their time between the Gardner Theatre and the LCDS Dance Studio, alternating age groups in each space for half of each day.
